Camera Traps
    Camera Traps are simply motion
activated cameras which can be set along
    game trails to monitor animal
movement and have proved to be a very
    useful tool in leopard research.
Of-course we also capture images of
other nocturnal animals, as you can see.
Guests are invited to site camera traps
    during daylight hours under the
    guidance of our experienced trackers.
We then retrieve the cameras a few days
    later excitedly anticipating the results.
Who knows you may be the first to
    photograph the illusive black leopard,
which has been frequently sighted in the
    Paperbark Bush Retreat valley. All
images and locations are logged by our
staff and included in the Ingwe Leopard
    Project.
