A message from your hosts Carol and Will
"Our time spent working in wildlife conservation has opened doors which allows
us to bring you a unique safari opportunity.
We aim to bring you the right blend
of experiences during your Safari. Of-course game viewing is high on everyone's
agenda, but personal safety, relaxation and opportunities to experience the
ambiance of this magnificent continent are also key to creating the ideal safari.
Back on Track Safaris combines all of these elements to provide you with a
magical experience, full of memories; which will last a lifetime".
Game viewing
We provide more than a 'canned safari' photo
opportunity, governed by a regimented package deal .
We give you the chance to witness real life animal
behaviour in a responsible manor, guided by one of
the countries leading conservationists.
Big five game viewing normally takes place in the
exclusive Sabi Sands game reserve and the Kruger
National Park.
Accommodation
Your accommodation has been selected to provide an
element of pampered
eco-chic luxury. Our home at the
carbon neutral Paperbark Bush Retreat is the home of the
Ingwe Leopard Project and gives you the opportunity to
experience the African bush.
Conservation
Back on Track staff have long associated with wildlife
conservation projects for over twenty five years. We
founded the Ingwe Leopard Project in 2004 and are
regularly engaged in large predator research.
Our guests are afforded the opportunity of becoming
involved in monitoring leopard behaviour via GPS
tracking and
camera trapping if they wish. These activities
give a wonderful insight into the world of real life
conservation.
